As part of the ‘East Frisian Crime’ series, Schiwago Film uses CastConnectPro to check the availability of extras online, make bookings, and brief actors for the respective shooting days. E-castings for supporting roles can be requested via personalized upload links and are immediately available in CastConnectPro for presentation to the director after upload.
Thanks to the interface between CastConnectPro and the payroll service provider adag, all payments are processed fully digitally – without any paper ‘fee slips’ on set.
An additional advantage: all actors who have registered online with Schiwago Film remain stored in the system and can be easily requested again for future productions.

Saxonia Media in Leipzig was among the first productions to use CastConnectPro for managing, scheduling, and booking extras in the TV series ‘In aller Freundschaft.’
With the introduction of digital work contracts via the interface with ADAG, the Erfurt production ‘Die jungen Ärzte’ followed suit and has since managed all extras through its own CastConnectPro account.
